Sawla TVET Institution was established within the compound of Sawla Secondary School, accredited by the former SNNPRS TVET Bureau.

ሳውላ ቴቬት ተቋም በሳውላ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት ቅጥር ግቢ ውስጥ ተቋቁሟል፤ ምዝገባና እውቅናውን ካለፈው ክልል ቴቬት ቢሮ አግኝቷል።

For about 2 years, the institution provided training in soft skill departments — Accounting and Management — within the secondary school compound.

ለሁለት አመታት ያህል ተቋሙ አካውንቲንግና ሜናጅሜንት የሚሉ ሶፍት ስኪል ዘርፎችን ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት ቅጥር ውስጥ አሰልጥኗል።

Construction of new buildings began, funded by the Regional TVET Bureau with a budget of 400,000 Birr.

የክልሉ ቴቬት ቢሮ 400,000 ብር በጀት በመመደብ አዲስ ሕንፃዎች ግንባታ ተጀምሯል።

Building construction was completed. On July 8, 2005, the college officially launched formal training at its current location, serving districts including Demba Gofa, Geze Gofa, Oyda, Zala, Uba Debretsehay, Melo Koza, Basketo, Kucha, Dara Malo and Sawla town.

ሕንፃ ግንባታ ተጠናቀቀ። ሐምሌ 8, 2005 ዓ.ም ኮሌጁ በአሁኑ ቦታ ኦፊሴላዊ ሥልጠናውን ጀምሯል። ዋና ተጠቃሚ ወረዳዎቹ ደምባ ጎፋ፣ ጌዜ ጎፋ፣ ኦይዳ፣ ዛላ፣ ዑባ ደብረፀሐይ፣ ሜሎ ኮዛ፣ ባስኬቶ፣ ኩቻ፣ ዳራ ማሎ እና ሳውላ ከተማ ናቸው።

Expansion of construction was approved to upgrade the institution to college level.

ተቋሙን ወደ ኮሌጅ ደረጃ ለማሳደግ የሕንፃ ማስፋፊያ ፕሮጀክት ጸድቋል።

The major expansion project, with a budget of 50.3 million Birr allocated by the Regional TVET Bureau, commenced.

ከክልሉ ቴቬት ቢሮ 50.3 ሚሊዮን ብር ተደርጎ ትልቁ ማስፋፊያ ፕሮጀክት ተጀምሯል።

Expansion project completed. The institution was officially elevated to a Construction and Industrial College. Hard skill training commenced across multiple departments.

ማስፋፊያ ፕሮጀክቱ ተጠናቀቀ። ተቋሙ ኦፊሴላዊ በሆነ መልኩ ወደ ኮንስትራክሽንና ኢንዱስትሪ ኮሌጅ ደረጃ ከፍ ብሏል። ብዙ ዲፓርትመንቶች ሃርድ ስኪል ሥልጠና ጀምረዋል።

Following an assessment by the Regional TVET Bureau, the college was selected as a candidate for Polytechnic College status.

የክልሉ ቴቬት ቢሮ ካካሄደው ግምገማ በኋላ፣ ኮሌጁ የፖሊቴክኒክ ኮሌጅ ደረጃ እጩ ሆኖ ተመረጠ።

The institution was officially elevated to Sawla Polytechnic College (SPTC) — one of 34 colleges established at regional level.

ተቋሙ ኦፊሴላዊ በሆነ መልኩ ሳውላ ፖሊቴክኒክ ኮሌጅ (SPTC) ሆኖ ከፍ ብሏል — ከ34 ክልላዊ ኮሌጆች አንዱ።

SPTC is administered by the Federal Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skill. With 256 on-campus trainees, 99 trainers, and 67 administrative staff, it delivers outcome-based training across ICT, Construction, Automotive, Garment, Agriculture, and more.

SPTC በፌዴራሉ የሠራተኛና ክህሎት ሚኒስቴር ይተዳደራል። 256 ሰልጣኞች፣ 99 አሰልጣኞች፣ 67 አስተዳደር ሠራተኞች ባሉበት ICT፣ ኮንስትራክሽን፣ አውቶሞቲቭ፣ ጋርሜንት፣ ግብርና ወዘተ ሥልጠናዎችን ይሰጣል።
